I cant log into a server with a custom map. There is an error message about a missing wad file?
Answer
A wad file maybe necessary for a custom map to run properly. Back in the day ( 10 years ago now) not all files were packaged in the map.bsp file and may not autodownload from a server. Some of the commonly missing files are:
