The original "orange map" was created by 3xicut0r and called 3xi_trainmap. Someone renamed it to dod_orangefight_arena , and the cloning began.
The arena maps are small monochromatic, nade spamming, frag fests. They can be included in the categotry of "fun" maps. They typically have no or minimal spawn protection, often with a flag in the spawn area. They are more akin to old school half life death match and have nothing remotely to do with WW2.
