Dod_cal_coire is an all-around excellent map.
There are four flags, all of them one-man caps.
This version reintroduces the destructable walls (using rocket launcher) and allows easier access to house overlooking allies first flag by running up broken railing.
This is the final version made especially for CAL. It's even got the little CAL logos in the spawn area.
The map is fairly small, although the many passages give it some depth. Gameplay is very fast.
The map is set in a dense urban setting. The open areas are relatively small.
The map looks realistic, and is well-constructed. There's good spawn protection, and the map is reasonably balanced.
It is based on the DOD classic map dod_chemille.
The framerates are very good for such a nice-looking map.
The map is suitable for match play. |
