You are all familiar with Moroes' work from DODS in the Baguet Map Pack and campazzo He was also part of the Portal Prelude Team (2008) and did work on the HL2 mod Insurgency.
The I Hate Mountains Team of Moroes, NykO18 and Kane have spent almost a year and a half on the creation of a polished five map L4D campaign for coop and versus, I Hate Mountains.
You can get a jump on downloading IHM from their web site

RT Frisk has released version 3 of his excellent L4D map Suicide Blitz
Be sure to update your version to be able to play on the SunLit servers.

RT Frisk has released a version 2 of SuicideBlitz for L4D
The zip file is 135 MB and can be downloaded from the L4D map library.
Keeping in line with the custom L4D map d/l system inefficiency, The zip file is suicideblitz_11 and the extracted vpk is simply suicideblitz.vpk *LOL*
Rest assured that this is the most current version and its now playing on SunLit Mall and SunLit Romero servers.

L4D2 Add-On Support
"PLAYERS: If you are not looking to design but play custom campaigns all you need to do is install the add-on support package. Just go into steam and open up the Tools tab. Look for the entry labeled Left 4 Dead 2 - Add-on Support click and install it. This download is sizable, but will update your L4D2 installation to allow running ANY map, including custom maps made for the original Left 4 Dead. Once installed, you do not need to run this application, it will always be active.
We will be updating the Left 4 Dead 2 game UI to include links to this package when applicable but for now please just download it directly. If you see any missing textures or models from your favorite map let us know in the forums."

Three new maps for download
Suicide Blitz is a first effort from R.T. Frisk. It is a complete 5 level coop map with a finale in a football stadium. How can you resist?
Vienna Calling provides a new environment. You start off in a burning high rise and need to make your way to the ground floor in a hurry. From there you enter the catacombs beneath Venice.
There is also an update to Nightterror version 3. At 145 MB it is advised to download it before logging into a game

Oct 2, 2009 - Valve, creator of best-selling game franchises (such as Half-Life and Counter-Strike) and leading technologies (such as Steam and Source), today announced pre-order details for its upcoming action thriller, Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2).
Starting now, those who pre-order L4D2 via Steam will receive early access to the Left 4 Dead 2 demo (currently targeted for October 27) plus an exclusive in-game item - the American baseball bat, one of the 10 new melee weapons included in the game.
In addition, Steam is offering a 10% savings to those who pre-order.

Hunter McJesus has released a completed version of Coal'd Blood. The four maps make up versus and co-op campaigns.
Updates to Death Aboard version 7 and Night Terror beta2 are aslo playing on the four SunLit L4D servers. You can download the maps ahead of time from the library

Romka has released a full 5 map campaign, HeavenCanWait. There are a few fps drops but the originality and challenge are worth it.
Detour Ahead has been updated to 3 levels in version 3. The mapper left the name the same. Delete your old version before you add the new.

CC_Nipper has released a surreal campaign NightTerror_b1. Five full levels with a finale, its creative and challenging. The team dying on either level 2 or 3 produces a nav error and neccessitates a return to the lobby and restart of the mission from the mansion. 102 MB zip so download it ahead of time.
