If you have already started Torchlight 2

Open STEAM

Right click on Torchlight 2

Click on Properties

Click on Updates

Uncheck synchronize with STEAM cloud


Wouldn't hurt to make a back up of your saves My Games --> Torchlight 2 folder

Apparently there was an issue with the Shared Stash contents being wiped with the release of Patch 1.10
